Sparks is a leading children’s medical research charity, dedicated to funding and championing pioneering research into a range of conditions affecting babies, children and mums-to-be.

We were commissioned by Louis Paltnoi, of Inspired Films to produce this largely animated typographical film that explains the work of this charitable organisation.

Corporate ident branding for commercial banking unit.

The idea was to give a hand-crafted feel to a very corporate project. The style is based around a screenprinted look on thick textured paper. The idents also have reveals and transitions to start or finish a video for a big commercial bank’s internal channel.

The logo was created meticulously from icons and key words synonymous with commercial banking. These elements were then separated and dispersed within a 3D environment. As the camera pans across and pulls back into a certain position, the elements align and shape the logo.

Expanding the air cooling systems used in Victoria London Underground System

The proposals to air-condition the London Underground stations are revealed using 3D reconstructed graphics showing the techicalities and difficulties of installing these systems underground. We have cut-aways showing the processes of a year-long trial of a groundwater cooling system began in June 2006 at Victoria station. Metronet installed London South Bank University’s system comprising three fan coil units which use water that has seeped into the tunnels and is pumped from the tunnels to absorb the heat after which it is discharged in the sewer system.

Title design for a thrilling Horror

TD steps back into the world of film for this horror short directed by Kate Cheeseman and starring Phil Davis. The opening titles remain subdued to build tension with the cracks starting to appear.

The end titles start with the title illuminating from car headlights and then smash the type. The following credits run past the super slow-motion smashing glass.
